NO NEED TO BOOK, COME ALONG AND DISCOVER THE MAGIC OF SMPC! “Glasgow’s Wee Hidden Gem, a Jewel in a box”.

You are warmly invited to join us for Glasgow Doors Open Day 2023, hosted across the city by Glasgow Buiding Preservation Trust. Enjoy a FREE puppet show with Talking Heads Puppets  Show Times: 11am | 1pm | 3pm

Join Centre tours and explore our Creature Workshops after each show with Malcolm Knight the Founder of the Centre. 

Visit our cafe for soup, sandwiches, home-baking, and colour-in and cut-out masks and puppet activity kits.  

See our museum displays around the building and check out our gift shop. 

FREE parking at the rear of the Centre through our side gates.

Pick up our latest annual Children and Families Programme, which Includes Halloween, October School Holidays Festival - MAGIPUP and run up to Christmas 2023 with shows, workshops and this years xmas Panto - Cinderella. February Half Term, Comedy Festival March and June Westfest dates 2024.

Craft Activity Colour-in and Cut-Out Puppets and Masks in our Cafe from 10AM - 4PM. Lots of designs to choose from, mermaids, sharks, butterflies, dragons, rabbits... all materials provided £2.50 each or 3 for £6.00. Felt tips and scissors etc. provided on the day. 

*The shows for Doors Open Day as part of Glasgow Building and Preservation Trust are free and not ticketed. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis.*
