The Scottish Mask & Puppet Centre is home to a series of contemporary mask and puppet theatre museum collections and archives of national and international significance.  These collections hold artifacts and illustrative and documentary material of great cultural and historical value, designed to help gain insight into the complex nature of mask and puppet theatre.  Above all, our collections are here to delight young and old alike as they explore the world in miniature.  Masks and puppets offer an enchanting mirror image of our better selves and the shifting nature of our beliefs, hopes and fears.
