Geppetta McGintty crafts Pinocchio from wood because she has always desired to have a child of her own. The Blue Fae hearing her wish for a real boy,

and despite being a bit scatter brained eventually finds the right spell to bring Pinocchio to life! But he will only become a real boy, if he can demonstrate that he is good. His conscience, represented by the audience, guides him, and each time he lies, the audience knows because his nose grows longer!

Pinocchio is convinced to skip school and visits the Island of Fun, where he nearly transforms into a donkey. Upon learning that Pinocchio didn't attend school, Geppetta goes in search of him but is swallowed by the Sea Monster. The Blue Fae informs Pinocchio. What will Pinocchio do? Will he remain on Fun Island, orwill his conscience urge him to attempt to rescue Geppetta? Will he become a REAL BOY?
