Punch & Judy by James Dowdall
£2.95Price
Reprint by Arcady Press of an article from a 1946 'Everybody's' magazine plus a brief account of the activities of Percy Press (the first) from a 1954 'Wizard' magazine. The beginning of the essay quotes a County Councillor stating "The show is not proper" but the author insists that Punch's "grogblossom of a nose and his strident, querulous voice will not disappear from the land." Five tinted pictures reproduced from the original duotone prints. 22 pages including notes in card cover.
