The latest edition of the BrUNIMA Puppet Notebook dedicated to Puppetry Research in Britain and also to newly visible developments. Interesting articles by Krystyna Berwinska on "Puppets on The Barricades: Recollections of Performing in the Warsaw Uprising"; "Assistive Technology. The Puppet and Process in Education and Therapy" by Caroline Astell-Burt; Ryan Howard on three puppeteers at the Old Bailey between 1674 and 1834; and Chris Abbott on "Puppets in Pantomime - from speciality act to superstar duck". This issue centres on twelve researchers all with special areas of interest and actively engaged in their fields. The editorial foreword, breaking news and diary events in the UK and internationally are also included.
